Remember: you are not your thoughts and not your feelings

Remember you are not your thoughts and you are not your feelings. Any emotional or mental strain that you are experiencing does not reflect who you are. Thoughts and feelings only appear as objects in awareness without your choosing.

Shifting from a place of constantly confusing all your thoughts and feelings with the truth of who you are to being aware of all the thoughts and feelings as they come and go, is one of the most important and transformational shifts on a spiritual journey.

It is the letting go of a tiring weight that you no longer have to carry.

A new world opens up.

You see it with completely new eyes.

You can breathe again…
