What do you want more of?

In mindfulness circles, the word more kind of has a bad reputation. This I regard as quite appropriate in our consumerist society where most people unconsciously measure their own worth against their ability to acquire more wealth and/or material possessions.

I just celebrated my 39th birthday and want to focus on the positive side of more:  I’m sharing my intent and commitment for the next year in terms of what I want more of in my life. These are all things that I perceive as healthy and constructive for myself. I invite you to reflect with me as to what you consciously want to bring more of into your life. And yes with this more some things that are not serving you will naturally fall away.

Here we go…

~ Giving myself more permission to be true to myself…
~ More courage to speak my voice…
~ More full acceptance of my messy and shadow sides…
~ More expression of what wants to pour forth from my heart…
~ More celebration of my being human…
~ More time for silence and connecting deep within…
~ More embracing the joy of missing out…
~ More surrender with all the things I have no control over…
~ More letting go of anything that weighs me down…
~ More being vulnerable and showing others the sides I’m ashamed of…
~ More kindness towards myself instead of beating myself up with harsh judgments….
~ More gratitude to ALL sides of life… the beautiful and the ugly, the joy and the sadness, the comfort and the challenge, knowing together it all formed me into the person I am today…
~ More relaxation in the knowing that I’m worthy of love and belonging irrespective of my actions and irrespective of any circumstances I find myself in.
~ More dancing with life without needing to prove anything to anyone…
~ More intimate open-hearted connections with fellow humans… (and animals, rivers, trees, rocks…  )
~ More honouring of the wisdom and intelligence that exists beneath the clutter of my mind…
~ More flowing with Life…

Cheers to your journey!

Much love,

Renier
